So many people complain about turning back the clocks and then getting depressed when winter arrives. How do you cope with this and how do you keep your love life hot in a cold world?
I will compile an ongoing list that produces the strategies that (may or may not) help an individual stay on track until summer returns. Always consult with a Doctor if you get depressed and need professional help and that includes CBT therapy with a psychotherapist, support groups and related help.

- avoid the workaholic/burnout lifestyle

- use more structure in your life
- write out a next day plan
- have a back up plan for everything

- join new groups and associations

- use that organizer and plan/prepare ahead
- write every day and stay current with yourself and your mood
- read books and related info about SAD and Winter Depression
- enjoy a seminar
- go out to a comedy club
- have your friends take you out
- reduce your work commute or ride share with friends
- get to bed before midnight
- get to bed at nine or ten so you'll have more sunshine the next day
- lay out next day's wardrobe the night before
- understand what the holidays mean to you
- attend a SAD support group and solicit more ideas and support
- shower before bed and comfort yourself
- re-manage your life and change your routine if necessary
- change your priorities if necessary
- clean house and keep things simple

- make your room inviting so sleep is not interrupted
